Identification: It is slightly bigger than the Pariah Kite measuring about 66 cm. in length. It has a distinct streaked head and neck and a large white conspicuous patch on the underwing surface.

Habitat: It is found close to human habitation near the coastal areas and poultry farms.

Distribution: It visits Pakistan during winter.

Breeding: It breeds in April and May and lays 2-3 eggs.

Food: It feeds on small insects, small birds, offal, garbage, carrion etc.
