It is a 16m tall dioecious (unisexual, both sexes on separate trees) tree bearing juicy fruits which are orange -red in colour. Its pollen grains have caused allergy problems in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Largely crows eat its fruits, which helps to disseminate its seeds. |
